Confession of a Survivor

Women of God this is a hurtful reality once you are battered by a man.  Sometimes it is not our fault and sometimes it is.  Many women have survive abuse by the hands of someone and it is not a good feeling.  We have the right to speak, we have the right to do what ever God entitled us to do.  One thing I will never agree with is abuse.  Abused by someone that say they love you is not love.  It will go on and on.  It is like a pit bull once he spells blood he cannot stop attacking.

Lot of times it is not physical abuse we suffer it is also mental.  No matter what we do someone has something to say.  Women of God remember our words are piercing.  Our words sow seeds into someone spirit.  For example if you tell another young lady or young man they are somebody that is a seed you are sowing into their spirit.  If you tell them they are dumb and not going to be nothing that is a seed that is harmful you are putting into their spirit.

From my personal experience of verbal abuse, I just think God it was not physical.  However, I am not the same women I once was.  All the harm in my life God turn it into my confession of a Survivor.  What was suppose to destroy me God look down and saw my needs.  He picked me up and did I ever dream that blessings was down the road.  Picked me up our of that horrible pit and established my goings.

Praise God for all experiences they are testimonies for God.

When God turns your mess into your message

The enemy purpose is to kill, steal and to destroy every part of our lives.  Once you become a child of God and your mind is really made up to serve God, now we become enemy of  Satan.
The enemy always use our past to causes confusion and embarrassment in our lives.  He constantly tries to make us feel ashamed, guilty, and remind us of  many other things we did when we were in sin.  Thank God for his mercy and he forgave us of all those things.  The devil may bring them up but the bible says in Micah 7 vs. 19 “He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.”

So if God does not remember the things we did that was done in sin, why should we feel guilty.  Our mess is a message of the way God look down on us and was happy when we confessed to him.
At times we cannot be healed because we keep taking our guilt from relationship to relationship when God has already forgotten what we did.  We must not do those things again and move on to the  things that God has for us.

If God moved on from our mess why not move on also and make our mess a message and testimony for the Lord.

Your Dark Place Maybe Someone Else Light

To all young ladies starting life, please listen to those who have already walked in the tragedies of life.  Your walk in life will enable you to avoid a lot of unnecessary situations.  Psalms 23:4 says “Though I walk in the valley of the shadow of death I fear no evil for thou art with me.  Thy rod and they staff shall they comfort me.”  God will guide us to someone that has already been through the shadow of death.  God is awesome he see our life before we can figure it out.

Isaiah 43:2 says “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers they will not overwhelm you, and when you walk through the fire they shall not burn you, and the flame shall consume you.”  In my early days of life thank God he put older experience women in my path to help me walk this path of darkness.  The older women would take my hand and tell me I already been down this path.  Let me take your  hand and we can walk this together.

My advice to young ladies is always:

Stay true to yourself even if it hurts facing realty
Take a look at the wrong in your life and get help
Keep it real
Think through your decision
When you are trying to do right there are a lot of experience women that will walk with you in your struggles.

Are our Blessings tied to Obedience

Before we tackle this subject, we must know what obedience with the Lord entails.  Obedience and blessings are in the framework of sanctification.  After a person is saved by his or her  choosing, than he or she starts living a life of obedience according to the rules and instructions of God’s word.  Obedience comes by one’s willingness to follow God at all cost.  We cannot do this alone.  We have to have a made up mind to know what God instruction is for us.  After all obedience is the written instruction from God for us to follow.

Following his instructions of obedience (after all he did inspire his Apostles to write his word for us), comes his blessings.  With so many activities around us, some good, some bad, our willingness to serve God means a lot to him.  Just imagine what the world would be like if Adam and Eve would have been obedient to his instructions.  Remember the beautiful Garden of Eden was their blessings from God from the beginning.

Thinking about blessings does not mean material things.  Sometimes our greatest blessings is having a thorn in our side so that we can stay focus on the will of God.  God blessings will happen through our obedience and a willing for God to work though us.

Obedience is:
A choice
A attitude
A Lesson
